My chin has been breaking out this week like it's 1995 and I'm wearing Dr. Martens and a floral dress. I came to the conclusion that it might be caused by the fact that I haven't cleaned my makeup brushes since the same decade. Yes, the things that were living on my brushes have probably built their own colony by now. I'm sure they were just about to rocket off to their first moon landing.
I have this fancy makeup brush cleaner gel thing but, I HATE the way it smells. It's like old cotton candy left in the car a year after the carnival skipped town. It's horrid.
Well, this gem of a DIY has been floating around the Internet for some time. I thought I might give it a try. Verdict: it was easy and saved me some cash.
Have you tried this DIY Makeup Remover?
