We had a blast this Halloween! Copeland is at a great age for trick or treating. This year he had a special request for me. Since he was dressing up as Captain America (his personal hero) he asked me to dress up as a Marvel hero too. I was thinking Black Widow, but he had other plans! At his request, I dressed up as The Hulk! I found this kid's costume at Goodwill for $10 and the rest was history!
Halloween is quite possibly my favorite holiday! This year I had three totally different events to attend. My electropop band, SIGNY, performed one night, my new beau and I hit the town to see Questlove play a DJ set, and then on the actual date I took my son trick or treating. 3 nights, 3 chances to dress up, was I going to wear the same costume each night? Haha, no way!
Amy and I did a role reversal (she's got dark hair and I have red.) She was Hipster Ariel and I was Snow Wut this year! We had a blast performing too!
Costumes with the beau weren't exactly a stretch. We kinda went as ourselves as Bender and Claire from The Breakfast Club. Thanks to the Austin Statesman for the snap.
Seriously, this year was one of the best! Cannot wait to see what next year holds. So, what did you dress up as?
